The Final Season

That's right. The final season of LOST begins on February 2nd, much to the chagrin of fans such as myself. It'll be bittersweet as some of our questions might be answered, but it will also be over. It would be too much to ask for ALL of our questions to be answered, right? As we well know, the makers of LOST have teased us since day 1, mercilessly taunting us with unshared details, believable and endearing characters, and incredibly addicting plots from episode to episode, rubbing their hands together and laughing maniacally as they string us along from season to season. It's true, you know it. And we continue to watch willingly. Desperately. Well, maybe not desperately. You get my gist.

There is still time to get caught up to watch the final season of the best show on earth. Check out the LOST Starter Kit that will help fill you in. There are highlights and pivotal episodes you can watch from each season. The Timeline may also help and provide interesting details. Don't forget to ask Sawyer for your own Nickname. :P

On a side note. As it turns out, I am currently unable to transfer the pictures (from California) from my camera to my computer. I've got a lot of pics from my parents as well so I may end up posting them first. I think I might like to post them all together though, so I may wait until I am able to use my camera card. It will be a few weeks I imagine. =(

Audrey Ann, LOST, and a Cozy Dogpile

Well, last week's LOST premier certainly lived up to my expectations. I thought it was great! I have a few theories, but more than anything I am waiting in excited anticipation to watch the next episode! {Edit: it would help if I finish my sentences before I post!} I hope my fellow LOSTies enjoyed the nail biting suspense as much as I did, and look forward to the coming episodes. Seriously, if they don't air more than 8 episodes this season I think I may die. For real.

Baby news! We finally decided on a name for the baby girl we have affectionately called Rice Rice Baby up until now. Her name will be Audrey Ann. Audrey is a classic, timeless name that Eric and I both love, and Ann is my Mom and my middle name. I am excited to carry on the middle name tradition! :D We LOVE her name and cannot wait to meet her. Being able to call her by her name is a wonderful, real, and exciting thing. A very sweet friend of mine sent us a gift recently, my very first baby gift! I almost danced around the house with joy. Here are a few of the things she sent including the cutest bib ever ~ thank you April! :D


In other news, Gabby and Sasha are becoming the most mellow, affectionate, and cuddly dogs in the history of Labrador Retrievers. I'm not kidding ~ see for yourself!

New List

And now for something completely different (come on, Monty Python fans!). Before I post my new LoCF (List of Current Favorites) I must show my LOST countdown once again, mostly out of sheer excitement about Season 4 starting THIS WEEK! 3 Days, people. Three. Tres. Three days until LOST fans continue the puzzling saga. Will we discover more of the story, or will we simply agonize through the few episodes they'll release until the cliff-hanger that will be episode 8, only to wait another year to continue staring mesmerized at our tv screens? Will Michael return ~ with or without Walt? Is Charlie really dead? Has all that has happened up to this point simply been flashbacks into the past after Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Hurley, Locke, and the others have made if off the island? What will happen when "Penny's ship" makes it to the island? Also, did anyone notice in the final frame of the new trailer this week, that a city is reflected in the ocean off of the island? DUN DUN DUN! What does it mean!!! Of course, my LoCF must begin with this terribly addicting show.

My list is rather short this time. Besides the hustle and bustle of getting ready for baby, life is fairly simple. I am content with not having much going on, as very soon I will be very busy with our new baby girl!

LOST Returns!

More than a few of us were afraid we wouldn't see LOST return with Season 4. What trying times are these.... Much to our amazement and delight, we will see at least 8 episodes of the LONG awaited Season 4, beginning January 31st! Try to contain your excitement, regardless of how difficult it is. Eric and I will be watching Season 3 in the next few weeks with our fellow fans Dave & Katie, to catch up on recent LOST history and re-theorize what we think will happen, who is coming back, and who may or may not have died (I have yet to see Charlie in the trailor Katie, dangit!) In honor of our much loved show, I give you an official LOST countdown. *shiver*

The Countdown Begins

It's never too early to look forward to LOST. As promised, here is my countdown to Lost season 4, which starts on February 6, 2008. Yes, yes I am a nerd, but you love me! (Edit: new timer added! The last one wasn't specific enough! Sorry the pics are a little blurry... they are little icons that the timer generator blew up, and I don't feel like resizing them. Hehe)
