Truuuuuuuuuuck?????

"Ride in truuuuuuck Mommyyyyyyy?????" I hear this question constantly. If you know my little monkey, you can hear her drawing it out and raising the timbre of her voice to a high pitched squeek at the end. This is how most of her questions sound - it makes me laugh regularly throughout the day. Today when Eric got home from work, he set her in the front seat for a minute - and I snapped some pics of my beautiful, blue eyed girl.

4th Friday Fun

Ooh ooh ooh I'm blogging again! Alert the press!

Eric, Audrey and I enjoyed a wonderful, very warm Friday night with our friends Darin, Lesley, and Emma. We wandered around this month's 4th Friday festival in uptown Westerville. I thought I snapped more pictures, but apparently I only took a few of Audrey in the fire engine (it was Safety Week after all!) and Eric and Audrey outside the ambulance. She loved being inside the fire engine. Anyway, enjoy! It was a night of GREAT fun despite the heat!

Good Zoo Times

Audrey and I enjoyed the sunshine with our friends Abby and Nolan today, and look at me blogging about it on the same day - I KNOW you are impressed!!! We had a great time and got to see the new and anticipated Polar Bear visit. I only snapped a few pics, but thought I'd post them.

It was odd seeing them in the hot, 85 degree sun. They seemed rather content though, or maybe just bored.

Fun on the polar bear play area!

Smile? Seriously?
Oooh look a bug! Or something... anything remotely more interesting than smiling at the camera!

Forever climbing.

Still alive!

It's been a long, long time, I know. I'm sorry! I've been so busy lately, and my blog has really fallen behind. I will try my best from now on to post a few pictures per week at least.

Here is Audrey playing in the sink while I cooked dinner. She ADORES water, and will do anything to play in it in any form. When I don't mind cleaning up puddles of water everywhere, I'll let her play like so.

She is such a little lady these days. She talks continually, every moment that she is awake. You can carry on a conversation with her now, which is really fun and exciting for all of us. She has great manners, and says "Please", "Thank you" and "You're welcome" constantly, finishing your part of the polite exchange if you don't remember to say it. I love hearing her cute little voice, and I need to remember to record her while she talks so that I can always remember how adorable her voice was at this stage.

If I can truly get on top of this blogging thing again, I will start posting funny things that she says, because she is forever making us laugh with her little "Audrey-isms".

That's all for now, but I hope to post more soon!
