SHE'S CRAWLING! Also, Audrey loves her Uncle Kyle & Aunt Jen!

My brother in law Kyle and his wife Jen visited this past weekend. We had a wonderful time filled with nertz (only the best card game, ever), laughter, late nights, good food, and great conversations. Audrey loves her aunt and uncle!

It's official. The crawling and cruising stages have hit us simultaneously, with full force. Lock down your cabinets, put up your baby gates, remove all knick-knacks, breakables, and deadly poisons from the lower shelves... the world's cutest, most smiley, spunky, and stinky little goober is coming your way at an amazing speed!

More action shots to follow.
For now, be appeased with lasagna, baby style.

And more pure cuteness!

Awwww

How can you tell that my baby is the daughter of a photographer? The second I whip out the camera, Audrey smiles and poses. It makes for difficult candids at times, but adorable pics nonetheless! She'll smile for me whether she just got out of the bath....

Walking with me on the first nice day of the year (cell phone shot)....

Exploring the house...

Playing with her toys...

Or actually posing for my random little photo shoots...

My little girl always smiles brightly, extending her joyful, bubbly personality to anyone around. Amazing how much joy can come from such a little person. My heart nearly explodes on a daily basis! I praise God for my daughter, and for the fact that I can stay home with her and watch her grow. I can't believe that she'll be one year old a month from now. This year has simply breezed by!

More New Pictures

I have more pics! It seems to be all I have time for lately. Someday soon I will start blogging like a normal blogger... actual WORDS and not just pictures. :) I miss pouring my heart out here.

Audrey is basically crawling now. She's not quite mastered the forward crawl,
but she manages. :)

She often scoots under chairs and other furniture to play. She'll probably be one of those kids who builds forts out of everything she owns. I was like that!

Here are Daddy and Audrey playing with the doggies.

Audrey Laughs

If you need something that will brighten your day and make you smile, look no further. Here's a video of Audrey thinking the dogs were hilarious when Eric asked them if they were hungry. Turn your volume up!

A snow update from the Slacking Blogger

Here it is the last week of January already. Time flies faster than I'd like to admit. Today I thought I'd post a few pics of the snow we were "blessed" with yesterday and today... take a look! We got 3 or so inches of ice sludge last night, topped with 5-6 inches of snow today. (By the way, I'm disgusted with the quality of pictures that my camera phone takes, but my "real" camera isn't working so this is all you're gonna get. Sorry!)

Here are a few from last week when I took the dogs out for a run in the snow.

Also, Audrey is now "scooting". She crawls backwards, basically. It's adorable and so fun to watch! I'll leave the room for 1-2 minutes while she is playing on her blanket, only to come back and find her in places like this:

For all of Audrey's adoring fans, I want to let you know she is doing great. Growing and developing on schedule, talking away in her charming baby language, eating finger foods of all sorts, and more active than ever. Praise God for such a sweet, wonderful little girl!!! My heart practically bursts daily with love and joy. Here is one more cute picture of her surrounded (and adorned) with gifts from her Uncle Kyle and Aunt Jennifer. (The video game in her hands was for Eric, don't go freaking out on me now! :D)
