Sigh.

Final thought of the night. When I grow up, I wanna be like Ree Drummond. If the name sounds familiar, you've probably seen her blog, www.thepioneerwoman.com. Her life does not look as if it is easy and I know for a fact it can't be. However, it appears so romantic. I want to wake up every morning, go out and take pictures of the horses and animals and kids and myriads of other things with my hilariously expensive and beautiful camera, and then blog about them in my fashionably witty way. All the while being an amazing cook, an amazing mom (wife, sister, et al.), photographer, etc. etc. etc. Seriously, I'm desperately jealous in the very best way. Maybe I can be my own version of her, with the ridiculously less stylish life I live. I have spunk, sometimes loads of it, so I can do it. Right?

Thanks Trish, for making me curious about the Pioneer Woman again. I haven't looked at her site lately and I totally got lost in it again today. Love ya girl!

Springy Things

Winter held on a very long time this year. A VERY. LONG. TIME. Thus my obsessiveness with the warmer weather, leafy green foliage and colorful flowers now quickly appearing. I've snapped some pictures on my walks and from my own terribly cared for garden, so I thought I'd share them. You may notice that I am also irrevocably obsessed with close ups. I'm gearing up to complete my blog renovations, so check back soon. I have a few things I need to finish up before I devote all my free and/or creative time here. (Plus I want to start blogging again. Yeah, really blogging. With words, not just pictures. I know, right?!) A Running List of Fun, Highly Entertaining and Possibly Very Addicting Things. 

(In no specific order. I will bring this list back often. If you have things to add to it, PLEASE comment and let me know. A growing knowledge of what is fun and addicting is essential to keeping life interesting!)

1. Pinterest. Mostly useless yet insanely addicting. I haven't even created a wall, and possibly never will. Simply looking through the photos on the main page sucks me right in.


2. Comeandlive.com. Free music. Albums and albums of it. Amazing Christian tunes. You really can't go wrong. Free downloads are HERE. 

3. Rainbow Sandals. Sexy. Comfy. Remind me of Cali. Best. Flip flops. Ever.

4. Coffee. We know this one well, but it simply belongs on this list. No way around it! 

5. Peep jousting. As much as I hate the word "peep" (don't ask.) and generally don't like the way they taste, causing them to joust in the microwave is highly amusing. And they taste pretty darn good when they're warm and burnt. 

The list may be short, but it will grow. Remember to help me out, post and tell me some things that are awesomely amusing, highly entertaining, or possibly very addicting. WHEE!

It's official! I'm gonna keep using this blogger bloggy blog. Blog. YAY! To celebrate, here's one of the songs I've been listening to a lot lately. I'll probably post another one tomorrow. My favorite band right now! Still a lot of work to do on customizing my bloggy blog blog, but stay tuned. Slowly but surely!

I can't decide what to do with my blog. Keep it at Blogger? Move it to Tumblr? I'm trying to customize it here so that I LOVE it. I really like Tumblr, but unless you're a member there, it's kind of a pain to comment on posts. I enjoy getting occasional comments from people here, so I will probably stick with Blogger. Either way, this blog is officially UNDER CONSTRUCTION. I'm too tired to mess with it any more tonight. I'll clean it up soon!
