New Pictures

A few weeks ago, Eric and I and the pups had our pictures taken by the AMAZING Laird Photography team. I'm telling you, those Laird people are awesome. :D Molly is in a few of them too. We couldn't keep the cuteness out of ALL the pictures! Here are some of my favorites:

Notice Gabby winking in this one ~ I love it!

More Deprivation

Eric brought another interesting fact about my life to light during one of our mature and enlightening discussions. I have been visually deprived of multiple saturday morning and weekday afternoon cartoons... I have a lot of catching up to do. I have a feeling there may be a few more of these lists in the near future. NOTE: My wonderful caring parents (sarcasm is truly not intended here) chose not to have me watch certain cartoons for various reasons, all of which I deeply respect. I don't regret how my childhood turned out, regardless of what I think I may have missed in retrospect. At this point I feel I am mature enough to handle any issues and images these cartoons may present, and therefore will endeavor to watch them at some point in my adult life. Feel free to comment and tell me what else I have missed! :)

Cartoons I must watch to continue leading a happy life, in no particular order:

Snorks
Smurfs
Huckleberry Hound
Space Ghost
Snaggle Tooth
Grape Ape
Transformers
Thundercats
Bravestar
Captain Power
Eek the Cat
Heathcliff the Cat
Talespin
Casper
Gummybears
Ghostbusters
Super Mario Brothers
Sonic and Tails
Legend of Zelda
Captain America
Scooby Doo
Voltron (I am a girl after all ~ I think it's okay that I missed shows like Voltron! geesh)

Cartoons I HAVE had the pleasure of watching:
The Tick
Pinky & the Brain (OH YES!!!)
Animaniacs
Duck Tales
Darkwing Duck
Tom & Jerry
Looney Tunes
Woody Woodpecker
Batman
Spider Man
X-Men (Okay, so I was/am a bit of a tom boy...)
Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers
Goof Troop
Captain Planet
Gargoyles
Garfield
The Flintstones
Yogi Bear
Rocky & Bullwinkle
The Jetsons
Clifford the Big Red Dog
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Fall is in the air

During my lunch hour walk today, I decided to take some pictures of some of the beautiful fall foliage. Unfortunately, a lot of the color is already gone but my camera hasn't worked until a day or two ago. I wanted to get some shots before Fall is gone for good. I walk in a beautiful neighborhood behind my office building ~ The pictures aren't great, but I had fun!

Here are a few right outside my office building.

I also took a few shots of our street and tree next door.

The Tuesday Ten

Time really flies. I mean... really. I thought the last time I posted was probably a few days ago. Try TWELVE. We have been busy, but there isn't really any big news. I am not the most entertaining blogger ~ so it is time to get a little more creative than I have been.

The Tuesday Ten

1 is for the best husband in the whole world ~ he will always be at the top of my list, my favorite person, and #1 in my book. We have our struggles as any human couple, but I couldn't live without him. Functioning normally would be difficult too.

2 is for my wonderful puppies who are my constant cheerful companions when I am home. I couldn't imagine life without them, they always make me smile. Or yell, depending on what they have decided to chew and bring me this time. Really though ~ I love them. :)

3 is for the number of months I am pregnant.

4 is for the number of days left until the weekend ~ the precious, wonderful weekend! Geh...

5 is for the number of doctor's appointments I have had this month. I am thinking of pitching a tent outside the hospital, or renting out a parking space where I can park a pop-up trailer. Or maybe I could rig a teleport into their office like in Star Trek, almost like a speed dial... but instead of dialing a number I will get transported directly there. Or maybe they could give me gas money?

6 is for the number of times I want to watch A Charlie Brown Christmas this year. I missed it the last few years ~ it's time to catch up. Katie, when are we having our Christmas movie night?!! It's never too early to start watching Christmas movies!

7 is for the number of kids we're going to have. Maybe.

8 is for the number of people I get to bake brownies for tonight ~ go young married's small group!! :D

9 is for 9pm on Thursdays ~ when the Office is on! Thank God Jim and Pam are finally together. I mean seriously, it only took 4 seasons.

10 is for December 10th, when Eric and I will go to my level 2 ultra sound and find out the baby's sex! I can't wait!!

~

Happy Fall blogger friends! For anyone that really reads this blog (I am beginning to doubt that anyone really does), I will blog more often!

Suddenly the heat is gone, and Fall is here. I even wore my winter jacket to work today, giving me warm fuzzies deep down inside. I must say I have never experienced weather quite like what I have seen in Ohio, and I enjoy the spontaneity of it. Tuesday it was over 90 degrees. Wednesday, the temperature struggled to rise above 55 degrees and my house was cold all night last night. 49 degrees at 10:30am in the middle of October sounds a little more like Fall, doesn't it?! :D Here's to all the wonderful autumn things that I have been looking forward to so much. Cold noses, warm houses, mittens, scarves, and big comfy coats. Steamy hot chocolate, warm cookies, apple and pumpkin pies, and lots of turkey with gravy. Brilliant leaves colored red, orange, and yellow, and a chilly breeze that whispers of winter. Darkness will come early now for cozy nights that bring hearty hot suppers. I hope. :)

Our House

It occured to me that I never posted a picture of our new house. This is before my autumn wreath made it to the front door, but note our flag flying proudly in honor of the Ohio State Buckeyes. A few days after we put the flag up, some punk teenagers (we think) had the bright idea of stealing our flag, trampling it, and leaving it on the ground a few houses down. Either that or the college football rivalry in this city has reared it's ugly head in the direction of our house.

I have a few pictures of our indoor Autumn decorations as well, that I will find when I get home tonight and post in the next few days. Those terrifying and ugly bushes in the front yard are saying their last goodbyes as I type this. Seriously, bushes that house horrifically massive and grotesque spiders should never be allowed to grow. Anywhere. Ever. I hope they will be gone very soon. :)

Becoming Less Deprived

Last night, I was able to cross two cereals off of my list thanks to Dave and Katie!

Cocoa Crunchies (Puffs)
Apple Jacks

I liked the Cocoa Crunchies better, but I am pretty happy with my progess towards slowly becoming less deprived. Although, my stomach is a little less happy, and still hurts from all the sugar, ha. Next on my list: Crunchberries.

Also, it is worth making note that I won our Settlers game last night in record time! I think the total time ended up being around 45 minutes, but we didn't notice I had won for a few minutes after that. I place that blame partially on myself and my shrunken pregnant brain. Don't ask! Here is my winning road (yellow!)
